Alpine crash: Mark Lisica charged with causing horror crash near Mittagong
A man has fronted court after his Volkswagen Golf allegedly collided with a motorbike in the Southern Highlands, leaving the motorcyclist fighting for his life.

A Pheasants Nest man appeared in Moss Vale Local Court on Tuesday after being charged with causing a horror crash that left a motorcyclist fighting for his life.
Mark Lisica, 45, was charged with dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm and negligent driving occasioning grievous bodily harm after the terrible two-vehicle crash at 4pm on April 27, 2021.
Police allege Mr Lisica was driving his silver Volkswagen Golf in a dangerous manner when he collided with a Honda motorcycle and grievously injured its rider.
Motorcyclist Raymond Orr, 44, was treated by paramedics at the scene before being airlifted to Liverpool Hospital in a critical condition. Ambulance NSW confirmed Mr Orr was suffering serious neck and chest injuries.
Mr Orr is still in a serious condition in Liverpool Hospital and has been moved to the spinal ward to better treat his injuries.
Police allege Mr Lisica’s negligent driving was the cause of the horrific crash and the resulting injuries to Mr Orr.
He has not yet entered pleas to the charges and is currently out on bail. Mr Lisica is due to reappear in Moss Vale Court in late July.
