How do I log in to the app?

1. Open the app by tapping the app icon on your device.

2. Tap the three horizontal lines, located in the top right-hand corner.

2. Go to Settings.

2. Select Log in / Register today, located below Account. You will be redirected to a webpage in your default browser.

2. Enter your email address and password then select Log In. This will take you back to the app and allow you to view premium content, providing you are a digital subscriber.




What does the app cost?

It is free to download the app. If you are a subscriber with full digital access you will have unlimited access to the app for no additional cost. There are no microtransactions or in-app purchases once you are a subscriber.




How do I download the app?

Our apps are compatible with Android and Apple devices. Please follow the relevant steps for your device:

Android

1. Go to the Google Play Store on your device.

2. Type in the name of the publication you want the app for.




3. Confirm the developer is NDM (News Digital Media) and select Install to download the app.

Apple

1. Go to the App Store on your device.

2. Type in the name of the publication you want the app for.




3. Confirm the developer is News Digital Media and select GET to download the app.

We are committed to maintaining the security of our applications for both Apple or Android. This may mean that if an update is deployed to address a security concern , it could render older, out of date devices incompatible. How do I navigate different sections in the app?

1. Open the app by tapping the app icon on your device.

2. Tap the three horizontal lines, located on the right-hand corner.

3. From there you can navigate to different sections including Games, Horoscopes etc.




App Troubleshooting

Android App

1. Make sure you have downloaded the latest version of the app by going to the Google Play Store and checking for available updates.

2. Check the device settings and clear cookies:

a. Go to Settings and browse for the Apps menu item. From this screen, scroll to find Google Chrome and select Storage. To clear all app data including cookies and saved data, tap Clear Data at the bottom of the screen.

b. Alternatively, you can open Chrome and clear cookies and site data from browsing history by opening the app, clicking on the menu icon in the top right hand corner, and navigating through the Settings to find Privacy and Security. This menu will offer a way to clear the cached data

3. Check your default browser settings:

a. Go to Settings.

b. Navigate to Apps.

c. Locate Chrome in the list.

d. Select Browser app and ensure Chrome is selected.

4. Delete and reinstall the app:

a. Open the Application launcher.

b. Locate the app and long press on the icon.

c. Select Uninstall.

d. Go to the Play Store, search for the app and click Install to download.

i. To install the app you may need to enter your Google password.

5. Log into the app.

Apple App

1. Make sure you have downloaded the latest version of the app by going to the App Store and check for pending updates.

2. Check the device settings and clear cookies:

a. Go to Settings.

b. Navigate to Safari and tap on the icon.

c. In Safari settings, ensure Prevent Cross-Site Tracking and Block All Cookies are set to OFF.

d. Click on Clear History and Website Data to clear cookies and cache from the Safari website and app.

3. Delete & Reinstall the app:

a. Locate the app and long press on the icon.

b. A small menu should appear, with Remove App being an option.

c. Tap Remove App then Delete App.

d. Go to the App Store, search for the app and click GET to download.

i. To install the app you may need to enter your Apple password.

4. Log into the app.

  • How do I manage app notifications?

    To turn on/off your app notifications, follow these steps:

    1. Open the app by tapping the app icon on your device.

    2. Tap the three horizontal lines, located in the top right-hand corner.

    3. Go to Settings then Notifications.

    4. Turn notifications on/off by sliding the bar left/right. Blue indicates that the notification is on. Grey indicates the notification is off.

    Please note: You may also need to allow app notifications via your device settings.
