Copo Cafe & Diner
Cafe$$
No matter your mood, this smart-casual cafe has you covered from top notch BLAT to roast quail with Jerusalem artichoke and basil. The latter, a light, lemon-tangy delight, is a conversation stopper (unless you count 'mmm' as dialogue). Doorstop sandwiches, including a sweet alliance of charcoal roasted pork, pear-and-fennel relish and pickled cucumber, have a similar mmm-muting effect. An upstairs terrace is perfect for long lunches, but then, so is indoors with its school-days chairs and crates of produce. A finale of orange-almond cake and Campos coffee is hard to fault.
