Toll Global Express boss Christine Holgate has expressed an interest in multi-employer bargaining amid criticism that business has been duped into radically reshaping the industrial relations system in favour of unions.

Despite strong opposition to unions bargaining across multiple employers, business groups last week agreed at the Jobs and Skills Summit to consider the mechanism in a bid to remain inside the tent on government policy.
