Alan Joyce and other CEOs warn against multi-employer bargaining push
Qantas chief executive Alan Joyce has taken a hard line that multi-employer bargaining must not swing the balance against employers amid criticism that business has been duped into radically reshaping the industrial relations system in favour of unions.
Despite strong opposition to unions bargaining across multiple employers, business groups agreed at the Jobs and Skills Summit to consider the issue in a bid to remain inside the tent on government policy.
