What was once the more formal Taxi Dining Room has become a relaxed, anything-goes kitchen diner, still starring 180-degree views of the CBD, Yarra River, the arts precinct and Federation Square. Talented chef Tony Twitchett is having fun with a lively menu that jumps from tempura cauliflower blossom to son-in-law eggs, pumpkin and almond tortellini, Castlemaine Sichuan duck and lemon meringue pie "frozen, like Nan's".
