The Patonga’s a special place that offers a delightful dining experience. The pubis charming and pretty, and the view of bobbing fishing boats from the beer garden is gorgeous; add fresh local seafood and this place can confidently be called world-class. The signature seafood platter for two with hot and cold selections is great for special occasions, while the marinated pork cutlet with braised fennel, roasted new potatoes, caramelised onion and a cinnamon-Pedro Ximenez jus is just one of a number of elegant yet hearty dishes.Another visit wasn’t so successful, with the bruschetta merely prosaic and a prawn linguine missing too many ingredients.
