Turkish$$
The Turkish-by-numbers decor here means no surprises in seeing carpets and decorative plates lining the walls. The menu, too, is a greatest hits list of dips, grills and pides. But it’s all accomplished, including thick-cut char-grilled haloumi, its saltiness cut by a zingy pomegranate molasses-dressed salad. Tender slices of lamb doner kebab and juicy chicken are just the start of the mixed grill’s moreish meat fest. Traditional pizzas, such as boat-shaped pide with minced lamb, are tops. And read your fortune in your Turkish coffee grounds; chances are it’ll include a return visit.
