When AIS Water chief executive Elena Gosse wanted to embark on team activities to make sure everyone working in her rapidly growing business was pulling in the same direction, she came up against an unusual problem.

The 43-strong workforce at the Brisbane-based chlorinator manufacturer comes from a very diverse background – 14 different nations largely comprising former Soviet Union countries including Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Russia, Ukraine, Moldova and Lithuania.
