What is Olympic weightlifting, exactly? Are you training for the Olympics?
No, no, it’s a specific sport that consists of two key movements. The first is the clean and jerk, and the second is the snatch. Both involve moving the bar from the floor to overhead. With the clean and jerk, you lift it in two movements – first to the shoulders and then overhead. The snatch is where you’re lifting the bar to overhead in one movement.
