Jim Cahill has me sussed. He would never say so, of course; he’s far too charming for that. But he can tell that, like many of his corporate high-flyers, I’m hurtling through my life at full throttle, trying to cram too much into every day. While that may point to a good work ethic, it’s not a great methodology for a fulfilling personal life.
“Not much that’s profound and wholesome happens at speed,” says Cahill. He’s my own personal Obi-Wan Kenobi during my stay at Sensei Lanai, A Four Seasons Resort, which has developed a reputation as a place to reset for high-level execs.
