Investors flock to fixed-interest ETFs
The fixed-interest boom is being felt in exchange traded funds (ETFs) as investors flock to those invested in government and corporate bonds for yield, diversification and lower risk.
Funds invested in fixed-interest ETFs soared to $9.15 billion at the end of August 2019, from $5.2 billion a year earlier, ASX data shows. Fixed-interest ETFs received the largest proportion of funds flowing into any asset class in the ETF market in the second quarter of this calendar year.
