Sauma
Indian$$
In Indian mythology sauma was the name of a forbidden drink enjoyed by the gods. Now it's also the name of one of Perth's most intriguing Indian eateries. With its Sanskrit panels, modern downlights and distressed timber, it's about as far away from your local suburban Indian as you can get. Gurps Bagga's menu is a mix of regional and modern Indian, from Rajasthani duck curry to mountain-style goat cooked on the bone, and house-made Goan sausage with coconut vinegar relish.
