Sushi and small plates for the bronzed and beautiful.

Modern Asian$$
The site formerly known as A Tavola has been transformed into this polished and peachy Asian diner at one with Bondi’s see-and-be-seen crowd. Its menu traverses Japan, Korea and China, often tripling down on flavour and letting the fried stuff steal the show.
Take the Hokkaido toast: rafts of sweet and juicy scallop and prawn toast, coated in sesame seeds and dotted with ponzu mayo. Lightly seared wagyu “sushi” rolls are on the right side of smoky, capped with tempura crisps and drenched in teriyaki sauce.
From the raw carte, salmon is refreshed with watermelon, mint and chilli jam and partnered with prawn crackers. Meanwhile, cocktails such as the Bangkok Basil (chilli-infused tequila, agave and lime) enhance the fun times. A spritz and sushi near the seaside never gets old, especially when the vibe is this fresh.
