Camden Valley Inn
16/20
Modern Australian$$
You could almost be in a TV commercial, sitting out in the vast, sunny garden under a big umbrella while attractive staff deliver your meals. It's a perfect location for a lazy Sunday afternoon lunch with a chilled local chardonnay or frothy ale. Signature dish, the CVI pie, is a must, loaded with generous chunks of beef and served with rocket mash and a pea puree. Otherwise, tempura fish or a juicy 450-gram T-bone will stave off hunger in this historic and homely atmosphere. Weekends are busy, so book early as there is limited seating indoors.
