Pok Pok

Thai

Like a beacon in the slim Docklands dining scene, Pok Pok glows brightly, from its warehouse-style interior with lolly-pink chairs to its zingy Thai street food menu. Try soft spring rolls or crisp prawns with a spicy dipping sauce. Crisp caramelised pork belly is perky with green peppercorns, kaffir lime and chilli. Pad Thai is a nice jumble of slippery noodles, king prawns and bean sprouts, while a tender, poached chicken in Hainanese chicken rice is generous and gingery. Breakfast flips to cafe-classic (eggs, granola). A great venue for Docklands denizens and worth a trip if you’re not.
