Sacked teacher uses right to disconnect to sue for $800k

A primary school teacher is suing her former employer for almost $800,000 over allegations that she was unlawfully dismissed, in part because she had sought to use her right to disconnect.

The teacher has alleged that Cairns Hinterland Steiner School sacked her for not responding to allegations of inappropriate behaviour sent during school holidays, when she was not required to work.
