Employee wellbeing is a winner in the war for tech talent
In a competitive market where talent is the “most-prized commodity”, a tech workplace’s offering to their employees is crucial.
For Mike Baukes, chief executive of cybersecurity company UpGuard, providing a good place to work is a business imperative because of the shortage of qualified tech workers in Australia.
“Talent in and of itself is just the most-prized commodity that you can get,” says Baukes, also a co-founder of the business. “There’s not a massive amount of these technically capable people.”
