End RBA scapegoating and come up with policy solutions

It seems so easy for many current and former politicians to lay into the Reserve Bank of Australia and its interest-setting approach, with Craig Emerson the latest in a long conga line to do so (“RBA is needlessly smashing jobs”).
That the federal government chose to essentially leave all the heavy lifting to the RBA to bring COVID-induced inflation under control by its targeting of one group of the community, namely borrowers, really beggars belief.
