The country’s highest-paid directors revealed

Here are the 18 male and two female directors in Australia paid more than $1 million a year in board fees.

Only two female directors crack the ranks of the ASX300’s 20 highest-paid directors, with male chairmen such as Richard Goyder, Michael Chaney and Ken MacKenzie still dominating the list.

The chairman of Israel-based semiconductor components company Weebit Nano, former Intel executive David Perlmutter, topped the table of the highest-paid directors, earning $2.01 million. Perlmutter has just one directorship of an ASX300 company.
