The Princess of Wales is undergoing chemotherapy to mop up any microscopic cancer cells that may have been left behind when she had surgery in January this year.

On Saturday morning, Australians woke to a video message from her explaining that, at the time of that “major abdominal surgery”, her condition was thought to be non-cancerous.
