One of the best old-vine grenaches in the country is being produced from a vineyard that only three years ago was a neglected mess – turning the man who has rescued it into an influential figure in the world of old vines and viticulture, not least through his popular Instagram account.

That man is Dylan Grigg, and I’ve come to his vineyard, Vinya Vella in Vine Vale, to find out what makes it special and how he did it.
