Armaguard, banks seek independent price-setter for cash delivery

Armaguard and the major banks have agreed that the cash transport monopoly’s prices will be set by an independent expert, a key milestone for putting the delivery of cash and coins on a sustainable financial footing.

A request for proposals from independent experts was sent out by Armaguard this week. It calls for expressions of interest for a new role: determining the fair pricing for Armaguard’s contracts with banks, large retailers, ATM operators, and pubs and clubs.
