The dotcom bubble peaked 25 years ago today. Is history repeating?

Last week, OpenAI co-founder Ilya Sutskever managed to close a $US2 billion ($3 billion) capital raising that valued his start-up at a staggering $US30 billion. It’s a big number by itself, and makes the secretive company, Safe Superintelligence, more valuable than Woodside Energy, Woolworths and Transurban.
