Going from catering events to catering your day, Blakeaway (the offspring of Blake’s Feast caterers) is a growing empire with stores in South Yarra, Brighton, Armadale, Glen Iris, and the CBD. The Brighton iteration offers sanity-saving prepared meals and other daily essentials to locals.

Decked out with mint-green shelves and pale-grey marble benches, the Church Street store is stocked with dozens of prepared meals, from lentil and coconut dhal that needs just a quick simmer and will feed a crowd, to coq au vin and zucchini and ricotta tart.
