Einstein's 251

Cafe

It certainly was a bright idea to open a cafe with impressive Small Batch coffee in an area starved of quality brews. Einstein's 251, no longer the new kid on the block, has really hit its straps and empty tables are a rare sight. The fitout is a simple bare-brick affair with a nod to science (water in chemistry flasks), and the service is zippy and sweet. The open kitchen whips up reubens, burgers, baked eggs and a chicken sandwich called the Theory of Relativity, while the barista knocks it out of the park with single origins like the Costa Rica Falda Grande, with notes of marmalade and chocolate ganache.
