The rose-pink archways of the historic Queens Court building in Woollahra now house a Parisian-inspired café by acclaimed chef Phil Wood and his wife, Lis Davies, just a short, leisurely stroll from their two-hatted Paddington restaurant, Ursula’s.

Set within the building’s leafy internal courtyard, Café Cressida features a French-style fit-out, with delicate ruffles and wrought-iron furniture creating an elegant space for brunch, or a casual lunch or dinner.

Clear your morning for caramelised sugar French toast, blueberry financiers or perhaps a bacon butty, crammed with crisps. From lunch, waitstaff begin juggling pasta plates and pouring Laurent-Perrier champagne.
