Jasmin Indian
Indian$$
Once upon a time, Jasmin was a simple, small, unlicensed restaurant, opened in 1980 by the Singh-Sandhu family. As Mrs Singh's (Anant Singh-Sandhu) reputation for fine North Indian cooking grew, so too did the restaurant, now an opulent softly glowing space, popular with politicians, pop stars and visiting cricketers. They come for the prawn pakoras, the beef samosas and the fish tikkas; and for the Punjabi lamb tandoori, the chicken masala and the aloo gobi of cauliflower and potato.
