Knives, machetes and swords have been used during horrific home invasions across southeast Queensland, with the identities of the burglars behind terrifying attacks now exposed as they face justice.

Shocked home owners discovered burglars in their bedrooms while others were forced to barricade themselves in bathrooms during home invasions.

One offender used a pole to smash through the glass front door, another used a hammer and a third - bizarrely - poured shampoo over the bedroom of someone he had ‘bad blood’ with.

There were 6445 unlawful entries across the Logan, Brisbane, Moreton Bay and Ipswich regions in 2022, according to Queensland Police crime statistics.

Here we take a look at 23 burglars found guilty of home invasions in 2022.

NOTE: All people mentioned had convictions recorded.
