The Local Taphouse
Modern Australian$$
With 20 craft beers on tap at all times here, it's fitting that the menu is designed to complement the amber ale. Share-friendly options include pizzas, cheese plates and a great charcuterie board, but it's hard to go past the burgers. They're among the best in town, though not the cheapest, at $18 for the beef burger. The perfectly charred meat is nicely seasoned and accompanied by a good bun, token salad, grilled onions and two fat onion rings. It can be tough to nab a seat at night, but on weekdays the lunch specials are great value, with free seats aplenty.
