Chateau Yering's light-filled conservatory cafe, overlooking the gardens, might dish up tomatoes and basil, picked on the property, with burrata, followed by slow-cooked pork with trimmings, then gateau. Monday to Saturday offer good value with a fixed-price lunch including a glass of local wine. Unsurprisingly, Sundays are more crowded, both for lunch and a delicious high tea (2.30 to 4.30pm).
