Workplace reforms won't 'breathe life' into enterprise bargaining

The Coalition government's proposed industrial relations changes will not be enough to revive the declining enterprise bargaining system, with the most significant proposals left on the table, experts say.

Employers have welcomed the incremental changes to the approval tests for agreements, include giving greater preference to employer and employee views, more weight to non-monetary benefits and to only consider realistic roster patterns.
