Today’s archetypal boss has been in the top job for about six years, and there is a 50 per cent chance they were born overseas.

he chief executives of the country’s top 50 companies are getting younger, the chances of them being female are rising, they are more likely to have studied a business or business-related degree, while the likelihood that they hold an MBA is slightly lower.
