Every private company with at least 100 employees reported their gender pay gaps on Tuesday, with the national gap for total remuneration sitting at 19 per cent, according to the new data from the Workplace Gender Equality Agency.

The agency has been publishing top-level gender pay gap data since 2014, but this more comprehensive data is being released to provide another level of transparency, WGEA chief executive Mary Wooldridge says.
