Is female-only recruitment discriminatory? Even lawyers are divided

If you think a company asking a recruiter to provide female-only shortlists for senior leadership positions to help meet diversity targets amounts to sex discrimination, you are not alone.
Chris Karagounis of executive search firm Alex Kaar felt the same way when a male executive told him not to bother shortlisting men for a senior role because “my bonus is linked to a gender target”.
