Employers deliver subsidised health insurance to retain staff

Employers are increasingly spending up to $5000 a year for individual health insurance as a way to attract and retain staff amid severe labour shortages and rising living costs.
With unemployment at 3.5 per cent and job vacancies close to record highs, recruiters say more companies are using the perk to keep employees happy and win over jobseekers weighing up multiple job offers.
