BHP worker unfairly dismissed over sex toy prank

A BHP mine worker has won her claim for unfair dismissal after she was sacked for playing a prank on a colleague with a sex toy and partially exposing her breasts in a selfie at work.

The Fair Work Commission ordered BHP subsidiary Central Queensland Services pay truck driver Tara Odgers $6,550 in compensation because it found the company failed to follow its disciplinary procedure at its Caval Ridge mine.
