Accenture to end DEI policies to comply with Trump

Tech consulting giant Accenture will abandon gender quotas and other diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives in a bombshell announcement that underscores how US President Donald Trump’s DEI crackdown is affecting workforces all over the world.

In an email to all global employees on Friday morning, Accenture chief executive Julie Sweet said the company was ending its DEI programs to comply with Mr Trump’s recent executive orders. It comes a day after Google scrapped its policy, affecting thousands of workers in Australia.
