Improve vocational training for uni students, says skills boss

Barney Glover is not unfamiliar with living in the public gaze after 15 years as a vice-chancellor, but his ascension to the role as the country’s skills czar has been something of a baptism of fire.

Just days after being named chief commissioner of Jobs and Skills Australia, Professor Glover found his bone fides being questioned in Senate estimates, with implications he was in bed with the Chinese Communist Party.
