Wimp 2 Warrior, a Sydney-based mixed-martial-art start-up, co-founded by the trainer of champion fighter Conor McGregor, raised $7.5 million from well-known investors, as it appoints a new chief technology officer and looks to build its online training delivery platform.
John Kavanagh and former Perpetual executive Nick Langton, who is its chief executive, told The Australian Financial Review, that funding was needed as it scales up its marketplace-style platform to deliver its MMA programs from 140 gyms around the world.
