Rate cuts won’t move voting intentions: AFR readers

The Albanese government should not pin its hopes on voters being swayed by the Reserve Bank’s first cut to interest rates in more than four years, readers of The Australian Financial Review say.

Close to 70 per cent of respondents to the latest reader poll said the recent cut to the official cash rate by RBA would not make them more likely to vote for Labor at the federal election due on or before May 17.
