Plenty of gas left in gold’s climb

An influx of investors increasing their exposure to gold has sent the precious metal’s price to its highest in more than three months, and strategists say there is plenty left in the tank to support further gains.

Gold rose 1.2 per cent overnight to $US1866.36 an ounce, passing through its 200-day moving average and carrying Australian-listed miners higher in the process.
