The Australian economy may be faltering, but for the budding indoor-plant sector, 2020 looks set to be a banner year.

“We’ve experienced quite a spike in sales since the coronavirus kicked in,” says Sophia Kaplan, co-founder of the plant-delivery e-tailer Leaf Supply. “Some customers are ‘greening’ their work-from-home spaces and others say they’re shopping online because they’re bored.”
