A “great little fish shop” just north of Kaikōura called Nins Bin.  

“The thing about Aotearoa New Zealand is that it is different from the rest of the world. It has a culture of its own, derived from the Māori, and everything is touched by that.

Being here makes you think about food differently. We are an island nation, so we have endemic fish, native spices and wild animals. At my restaurant Amisfield, we use only animals from the wild, most of which have been hunted, caught or shot locally.
