Insider trading biotech boss released on good behaviour bond

The former chief executive and director of Sirtex Medical, Gilman Edwin Wong, was sentenced to a non-custodial 18 months in prison for insider trading but released immediately on the condition he comply with a good behaviour bond for three years.

Mr Wong, who had pleaded guilty to one charge of insider trading relating to the sale of shares in July 2019, also had to put up $10,000 as a condition of his bond.
