Aged care provider Estia Health expects the government to use the May federal budget to respond to the final recommendations of the royal commission into the sector.
Estia is the first of the big listed aged care providers to report earnings – which were hit by COVID-19 and lower occupancy at its homes – ahead of the royal commission’s hand over of its final report to the Governor-General on Friday.
