One frustrated Queensland fan summed up the mood of an entire state as NSW destroyed the Maroons in game one of the Origin series.
The NSW Blues have kicked off the 2025 State of Origin series in style by claiming the opener in enemy territory.
The 18-6 win was more than flattering for Queensland with the Blues missing four conversion kicks which could have made the scoreboard look even more one-sided.

Heading in as the warm favourites, the Blues burst out of the blocks and put their rivals on the backfoot early and never relented.
The mood at Suncorp was encapsulated in one classic image as Brian To’o celebrated a try in front of a frustrated fan.
Controversy erupted late in the first half with the door swinging open for the Maroons with a questionable sin bin.
But a stingy defence never truly let them back into the contest as the Blues kicked off the defence of the Origin shield in perfect fashion - and left Phil Gould with huge doubts.
