Nestled in the Trafalgar complex in the city, Pulp Friction have you sorted from energising snack bowls to refreshing drinks. The smoothie menu is no exception, bursting with nutrient-packed ingredients. Try the Vampire Slayer shot, made with lemon, ginger, turmeric and the metabolism-boosting goodness of cayenne; or the popular Dark Matter, made with an assortment of greens, blackcurrants, banana, apple and protein- and vitamin B-rich spirulina.

After its opening on February 28, this cosy space is gaining a small legion of regular patrons. The hot ginger and apple juice is perfect for settling an upset stomach while keeping toasty as winter sets in. The cold-pressed juice is made from Our Mates’ Farm apples in Geeveston. Fresh Australian ginger is added, the mixture is steamed and served warm with cinnamon ($4.50).

Chloe Proud’s range of custom-blended juices are stocked by an array of popular local businesses, including retailer Vita Real Food Store, Born in Brunswick, Honey Brown, Pilgrim Coffee and Ruckus Fried Chicken.
