The Den
63 Salamanca Place, Hobart
Popular Salamanca eatery and bar The Den has two unique and popular loaded fries options available. The Loaded Kimchi and Cheddar Fries ($13) have a house-made, aromatic sauce made from spicy gochujang chilli paste, mirin and vinegar tossed through with tasty cheddar cheese and topped with onion and sesame seeds. While the Vietnamese-style Loaded Hoisin and Sriracha ($13) option includes house-made hoisin dressing, aioli and is topped with peanuts and herbs.
Brooke St Larder
Brooke Street Pier, Franklin Wharf, Hobart
With the popularity of sweet potato ever expanding, one of the most popular dishes at the Brooke Street Larder on Hobart’s waterfront is their loaded Sweet Potato Fries. More of a meal than a side, this large double serve of fries comes topped with creme fraiche, chilli caramel, fish sauce, shallots and coriander ($12).

You’ll never get sick of the Veg Bar’s filling, hot and hearty Pulled Jackfruit Loaded Fries ($12). The dish includes jackfruit, which has been marinated in a Mexican-style sauce and cooked on a hotplate with barbecue spices. The completely vegan meal, is served on a bed of fresh chips and is topped with a barbecue sauce, a chickpea-based house aioli and a cashew-based cheese sauce.
Mr Burger

Big, meaty and cheesy, the Trucker Chips add a kick, a punch and a whole lot of bite to the menu at Mr Burger. The fresh chips are covered in three kinds of classic American cheese. Crispy diced bacon is sprinkled over the dish and the store’s secret trucker sauce completes the meal. Add a kick if you wish with a few jalapenos on top. Another popular option is the Pulled Pork Fries ($12), with slow-roasted marinated pork, cheddar cheese, Red Hot Sauce, house-made ranch dressing and green onion.
