Roll up! Roll up! The circus is in town.

Starting May 2, revellers are invited to the Weber Bros Entertainment’s iconic, seventh generation circus, as it calls Queens Park home for two weeks.

Show director Kiarnna Weber said the family-run event would feature a packed, two-hour show that includes death-defying stunts, amazing aerial acrobatics and side-splitting comedy.

“We have the only human cannonball under a big top in Australia and the only splitting globe of death,” she said.

The Weber family traces its roots to Germany before moving to Australia in the ‘60s.

“We have toured lots of shows, from some of Australia’s greatest circus to musical theatre, like Cats and Grease, all under the big top,” Ms Weber said.

Weber Bros Entertainment have been in the circus business for more than seven generations.

“I think it is so good to have a family all working together on different projects, my brothers and sisters are in the show coming to Toowoomba and we are very family focused.”

No circus is complete without some clowns and the Weber Bros promises to put everyone in stitches, from great grandparents to the youngest family members, with their hilarious comedy stylings.

The Toowoomba performance will feature Ukrainian comic Val De Fun.

“He is one of Europe’s best and someone the crowd is going to love,” Ms Weber said.

The performance is entirely animal-free and has been the subject of a reality TV show – The Circus – that explores life behind the makeup.

“We are very excited to come to Toowoomba, the last time we were in Toowoomba was more than eight years ago,” Ms Weber said.

“We always love to see new towns and to have new audiences experience the circus.”
